I’m writing to recommend Taylor Blake. She worked with me as an intern during the summer of 2011. She quickly became part of the team and did a great job speaking up. She knew little about video production at the beginning, but quickly became familiar with the procedures and politics. She did a great job asking questions and learning a lot right from the start. Also, thanks to her work ethic, she always wanted to stay busy and did a great job asking for projects.
Taylor also has excellent people skills, which are often the hardest to teach students. They are essential in any business, but especially video production where working with clients can often be challenging. Often reading between the lines is the only way to get honest feedback. She knows how to talk to people and make them feel comfortable with her approachable tone and demeanor. It was surprising to see someone so young be so mature in her dealings with people. It’s a skill that you don’t find too often.
