As of this week, it’s official–I will have two new jobs on campus this fall!
Before spring break, I interviewed in Taylor University’s Advancement Office to work as their multi-media intern next year. I was offered the job over spring break, and I can’t wait to start working the Advancement director and assistant director. My job opportunities include designing materials sent out to donors who support student scholarships and activities (including materials like letters and brochures), writing, video production and editing, and meeting with donors when they visit campus.
This week, I accepted the position of lead designer for Taylor’s art and literary journal, Parnassus. I will be responsible for designing the cover and layout of the journal, attending staff meetings, helping with advertising, and evaluating literary and art submissions.
I also just registered for fall class and will be taking Web Writing & Production and Web Design, along with several general education classes. I’m excited for more opportunities to learn and gain experience in fields I love in just a few months!
