One of my goals in photojournalism is to creatively capture both the highlights and behind-the-scenes moments of events. Sometimes this is achieved easily with a single image, but some parts of the story require more explaining in the captions. Shots should also capture the feelings the subjects in the photos are experiencing—in this case, excitement and spontaneity. Skills used: Photography, dSLR cameras, layout, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop.
