Created with Adobe Photoshop. As the manager of all product photography for a furniture retailer, I was responsible for editing vendor photos to represent the exact specifications of the products we were selling. Below are a few examples of the work I’ve done.
Modern Dining Set
Original Photos
The original photos incorrectly showed metal legs and padded seats. They also only showed the dining set in black and white when we were selling in black, white, green, and gray.
Final Photos
After editing, we were able to show the sets in black, white, green, and gray with wood legs and plastic seats.
Rustic Dining Set
Original Photo
The original photo only showed the 6 piece configuration of the dining set we were selling.
Final Photos
After cutting the dining sets out on to a white background, I added and removed chairs as needed to show 6 piece, 7 piece, 9 piece, and 11 piece dining sets.
Leather Sectional & Sofa
Original Photo
The original photo showed the sectional in a chestnut brown color.
Final Photos
I color corrected the image to show the sectional in gray and removed a portion of the sectional to show the matching sofa.
Leather Loveseat
Original Photo
The vendor did not provide a professional photo of this leather loveseat, so we photographed an image of the matching sofa in the store.
Final Photo
After cutting out the sofa on to a white background, I removed the third seat from the sofa and used the Clone Stamp tool to cover the product tag.
Mid-Century Modern Chair
Original Photo
The vendor sent an image of the chair in green, but we were selling it in charcoal gray and deep teal blue.
Final Photo
I color corrected the chair to charcoal gray and deep teal blue.
Desk Set
Original Photo
To prevent any confusion for shoppers, we only show the items that are included in the price in the main product image. We were selling the desk and file cabinet separately, which were shown next to each other in the vendor image.
Final Photo
After cutting out the items on to a white background, I separated the two pieces and recreated the right portion of the desk.
Futon Set
Original Photo
To prevent any confusion for shoppers, we only show the items that are included in the price in the main product image. We were selling the futon, chaise, and ottoman separately, which were shown next to each other in the vendor image.
Final Photo
After cutting out the items on to a white background, I separated the three pieces and recreated portions of the futon and chaise.
Bicycle Bar
Original Photo
To prevent any confusion for shoppers, we only show the items that are included in the price in the main product image. We were selling the bicycle bar and the stool separately, which were shown next to each other in the vendor image.
Final Photo
After cutting out the items on to a white background, I separated the two pieces and recreated portions of the bar and the stool.
